Thank God for our Camerata Chicago concert on November 16. Ask Him to bless Drostan Hall and company and draw people to NCC and to Himself.

Our Church
Thank God for Pastor Chris’s sermon on Sunday, from 2 Timothy 3:1-17. May we learn how to detect and avoid false teachers.

Our Church
Ask the Lord for Pastor Chris to have a good week and gain insights and a sense of the Spirit’s presence as he prepares to preach his planned sermon this week, from 2 Timothy 4:1–22, finishing our series, “Let there Be Light: Paul's Message of 2 Timothy.”

Our Church
Pray for our Thanksgiving Eve service on Wednesday, November 27. Pastor Daniel will be preaching a homily from 1 Samuel 1. May we have hearts filled with gratitude and awe.

Christmas Coffees and Cocoas
Don’t forget the vital importance of prayer for reaching out with Christ’s love. First, we ask that you pray in two movements: • For your own heart, asking the Lord to give you a burden for lost people; and • For your neighbors and friends, praying specifically for: o One person. o One minute. o Once a day. Second, we ask that you choose a Prayer Partner to stand with you and pray for your Christmas Coffee (or Cocoa). • If you can’t find a Prayer Partner, go to the signup page on this site and request someone. We’ll make sure that you have help undergirding your ministry with prayer! • There are suggestions for what to pray about in the Christmas Coffee Packet on this site. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.—James 5:16b
