Prayer Wall

Our Church
Dr. Doug O’Donnell’s Sunday morning message, “Do Bad Things Happen to Bad People?”, gave us the negative example of Bildad. May we instead be gentle and kind in dealing with hurting people.

Our Church
Pray for next week’s service to glorify God and encourage the faithful. Ask the Spirit to empower Pastor Chris to give us a word in season. His message is titled “The End of the World as We Know it” and is from Daniel 12:1-4.

Our Church
Pray for healing and encouragement for Bob and Diane Ooms. Ask the Lord to make Himself very real to this dear brother and sister in their journeys with cancer.

Our Church
Pray for all at NCC facing cancer, heart troubles, surgery, physical rehabilitation, and other serious or ongoing health issues. Pray for healing, patience, and trust in God.

Our Church
Pray for those in our midst who are grieving the loss of a relationship or a loved one. May the Spirit provide supernatural comfort.

Our Church
Our Scripture memory verses are Daniel 7:13-14: I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven there came one like a son of man, and he came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before him. And to him was given dominion and glory and kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.

Our Church
Pray that Pastor Chris’s scheduled sabbatical this summer will be both restful and productive. Thank God for Pastor Daniel, our elders, and other leaders at NCC who will watch over the church in the meantime.

Our Church
Thank God for the Sisters Together luncheon, panel discussion on hospitality, and time of fellowship this past Saturday. May NCC members and families stoke into flame the gift of hospitality to the glory of Jesus Christ.

Our Church
Thank God for our brothers and sisters who were baptized last Sunday afternoon. May the Lord bless and strengthen all who publicly affirmed their faith in this way. May the Spirit open new doors for ministry and belonging to them.

Our Church
Thank the Lord for the Community Chat Potluck in Fellowship Hall on Sunday. May the relationships made and strengthened there continue to grow.

Our Church
Ask the Lord to surround us with angels to protect us and our visitors from any who would seek to harm us. Ask Him to give us wisdom and insight as we seek to worship and serve in our community, and may we do so without fear.

Our Church
Ask our Triune God to protect us, and particularly our children, from the attacks of Satan.

Our Church
Thank God for our music minister, Chuck King, and for Pam Whittles, who leads the Good News Choir. May they feel His pleasure as they serve.

Our World
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Ask for a swift and just peace in the region. May many in the Middle East turn to Christ amid the current war and rumors of war.

Our World
Ask for an end to antisemitism on our college campuses. May Jewish people know our love for them.

Our City
Pray for our elected leaders in Naperville and in all the communities where we live. May the Father give them wisdom and grace to lead well.
